Yo sí, el otro día en el pinar. Y resultó que sentí el calor en mi piel y luego cómo la brisa más fría me refrescaba; sentí un picor en mis pies por las espigas que pisaba; oí los pájaros cantar y piar; oí el ladrido de un perro a lo lejos; noté la presencia de un insecto sobrevolando mi cabeza; oí las voces de unos niños jugando; pude oler a polvo y a resina… Me sentí respirar y cómo entraba y salía el aire de mi cuerpo y me sentí viva y feliz.
Por un momento olvidé mi condición de mujer y mi situación personal para saber que soy un ser vivo en un planeta maravilloso. Y después de esta experiencia…. Continué mi camino.
My way
Have you ever tried to stay still in one place, without moving? I did it the other day in El Pinar, a local forest, and there I felt the heat on my skin and then the breeze refreshed me. I felt the needles from the pine trees on my feet; I heard the birds singing and chirping; I heard a dog barking in the distance; I noticed the presence of an insect flying over my head; I heard the voices of children playing; I could smell dust and resin… I felt myself breathe and felt the air coming in and out of my body and I felt alive and happy.
For a moment I forgot that I am a woman and forgot my problems. I realized that I am a living in a wonderful planet. And having experienced all this …I continued on my way.
